My favorite banana bread recipe ever! It’s simple, (with just a few simple ingredients) delicious, and guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser.
Ingredients:
•3 medium/large overripe bananas
•2 cups whole wheat flour
•2 tsp baking powder
•3/4 cup brown sugar
•1/2 tsp salt
•1/2 tsp cinnamon
•1 tsp vanilla extract
•1/2 cup coconut oil (softened)
•2 large eggs
•1/2 cup choc chips
•1/2 cup walnuts
Instructions:
•Preheat oven to 350F.
•Mash bananas in a bowl until smooth, set aside.
•In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
•Add in the eggs, coconut oil and bananas.
•Mix everything (except walnuts and chocolate chips) until batter is smooth. Fold in walnuts and chocolate chips.
•Line 9×4 loaf pan with cooking spray. Pour batter into pan.
•Bake for 60-65 mins (or until toothpick comes out clean)
•Let bread cool, enjoy!
